Since 2017 coordinations to connect May Day activities worldwide take place through the Global May Day network. Also this year some unions expressed interest in coordinating a framework for a common #GlobalMayDay2024. At previous meetings participants collected potential focal points and discussed a draft version of a call to action. The next meeting will continue to work on the call and attempt to finalise it. More to-dos are: preparing materials (e.g. designs for stickers, posters, banners), translating the call once it is finalised, informing labour groups worldwide about the call.
